Make a Glittery Snowflake Craft with the Kids!
This is the wintery Christmas season! And Christmas it is for us here, but winter and snow it is not. So what does a homeschooling mum with snow-envy do in sunny Singapore? We CREATE snow! Snowflakes to be exact with a simple snowflake craft…

An Easy Cotton Swab Snowflake Craft
This is a super easy snowflake craft that needs only three things;
Supplies:
- cotton swabs
- Hot glue and hot glue gun
- school glue
- Glitter (fine glitter works better for this craft)

Steps:
-
Use a hot glue gun to attach the cotton swabs in a criss-cross fashion to make a snowflake design. (This can be done ahead of time by an adult.)
-
Apply glue on the cotton ends of the cotton swabs and dip them in glitter.
-
Apply more glue in the middle of the “snowflake” and sprinkle glitter on it.
That’s it! You have your six-sided glittery snowflake that you can hang on your Christmas tree (just tie a string to it) or stick onto a package.
Felicia, a stay-at-home mother of two, is aspiring to be their greatest teacher. She occasionally dreams to be a fashionista in her too big maternity T-shirt and shorts while she indulges in some jewelry designing and crafting. Her two children, the Princess and the Rock are her main inspirations for her blog. Princess and The Rock aims to detail some of her thoughts and learning on being the parent of Princess and the Rock and her homeschooling journey with them.
